Corey White is the founder and CEO of Cythentic, a cybersecurity company built for consumers and small businesses, and the creator of Remi, an AI security coach that helps families close the gaps attackers use. In more than 30 years in cybersecurity, he has protected Fortune 500 institutions, governments and critical infrastructure.
He founded, scaled and sold Cyvatar (2026), a managed security company with zero reported major customer breaches across seven years, protecting 200+ organizations. Earlier, he served as SVP of Worldwide Consulting and Chief Experience Officer at Cylance, a pioneer of AI-driven endpoint protection, and came up through Foundstone with the generation that built the security industry, the same alumni network that went on to found CrowdStrike, Mandiant and Cylance. He is a contributor to Ross Haleliuk’s Cyber for Builders.

He started in security on August 24, 1995, the day Windows 95 came out, and in the three decades since has protected Fortune 500 institutions, governments and critical infrastructure.
He founded, scaled and sold Cyvatar (2026), one of the industry’s first membership-based managed security platforms, with zero reported major customer breaches across seven years, protecting 200+ organizations. Before Cyvatar, he was SVP of Worldwide Consulting and Chief Experience Officer at Cylance, one of the pioneers of AI-driven endpoint protection, and Southwest Director of Consulting for Foundstone and McAfee/Intel Professional Services. He belongs to the generation that built the security industry: Ross Haleliuk’s Venture in Security, in its history of where cybersecurity’s founders came from, places him on the Foundstone branch of the family tree, the same branch that produced the founders of CrowdStrike, Mandiant and Cylance. Corey also wrote a contribution to Haleliuk’s book, Cyber for Builders: The Essential Guide to Building a Cybersecurity Startup, on the blurring line between security products and services.
